- Groove Ology Has music on the mind 24/7. His extreme love for music keeps Groove Ology pushing to find any new sounds in music. Groove has played with many of the South’s finest gospel, funk and jazz bands. He has also ventured to play with many hip-hop, R&B, and neo-soul bands. He can groove to every genre. He has done some touring up the east coast and around the mid-west. One of the highlights of his life was his appearance at the infamous Apollo Theatre. On September 11, 2004, Groove had a chance to shed for the I Am Christian Center opening of their edifice. While in New York, he was honored to act as an understudy for the in house drummer at the Apollo Theatre. Upon his return from New York, Groove became the Music Director for the hip-hop band Blacklisted Individuals out of Austin, Texas. Groove has been linked to Tree G (Houston, TX) Queen Deelah (West Coast) Tje Austin (Austin, TX) A.U.X (Austin, TX) Augmentally Ill (Austin, TX) Faces East (MD) (Austin TX), just to name a few.
